Nomasonto Lushaba, the founder of NOMA, was born on a calm and sunny Sunday in a small village nestled between rolling hills. Her name, “Nomasonto,” meaning “Mother of Sundays” in Zulu, was a reflection of the peaceful day she entered the world. Sundays, known for rest and renewal, became a symbolic force in her life. Growing up, Nomasonto’s weekends were spent immersed in the healing power of nature, a love she carried into her adult life.
As she got older, Nomasonto became more mindful of what she used on her skin and how nature’s offerings could be used to restore balance. This led to the birth of her skincare brand, NOMA—an acronym inspired by the values she held dear: Natural, Mindful, Authentic, and Optimal . She wanted NOMA to stand for more than just organic ingredients; she wanted it to reflect a holistic approach to skin health and well-being.
NOMA products are crafted from natural ingredients, inspired by the deep-rooted traditions of healing passed down through generations.
